Looking for a popular tattoo design that would look great on you – but not sure what to choose? If you come from an Irish background then why not stay true to your heritage and choose one of the many Celtic designs. These particular tattoos are becoming ever more popular among people because of the deep symbolism that they have and also for their intricate and beautiful designs.
Choosing a Celtic design for your tattoo is becoming quite popular among people. The two most popular designs are the Celtic knot and the claddaugh. The claddaugh is a symbol for love and is usually found in the form of a ring. The design is a pair of hands holding a heart with a crown on top of it. When the heart if pointing towards your heart it means that you have opened your heart to love and someone has accepted it. This is great for a couple who are married and going strong.
The Celtic knot can be found in many different varieties – which means that there are many designs to choose from giving you more options. Each knot can symbolize something different. You can either choose a knot because you like the way that it is designed or you can research the different ones and choose one that best reflects you.
Keep in mind that both types of these tattoos can be very intricate. The Celtic knot can be left black and white – but the claddaugh looks better when you have filled it in with color. However, there are other Celtic designs that you can choose from that include creatures, religious, tribal, cross, and astrological designs.
What’s In A Manicure
November 5, 2008
As women we love to pamper ourselves. Especially on those days when we feel that nothing is going our way. We find a way to make ourselves relaxed and feeling like a true woman again. One of those ways is to give ourselves a manicure. That is one of the reasons why we love to give ourselves a bridal manicure for that special day.
There are a few different types of manicure available. The most simplest manicure you can get starts off with getting your nails shaped by the technician. Afterwards they will apply cuticle conditioner or remover to them and then will place your fingertips in warm soapy water. This will help to soften them up.
After about ten minutes the hands are removed and dried before the cuticles are gently pushed back in. Don’t worry it’s not as painful as it sounds! The nails are then buffed from the cuticle to the tip and then lotion is rubbed into the whole hand. If you’re lucky They will massage your hand.
All traces of oils will be removed and then they will apply your polish. Before they put on the color they will put on a base coat and then two or three coats of the color of your choice. Afterwards they will place a top coat.
